What They're Looking For.
Must Have
B. S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required, 5+ years of experience in product development of high-volume electronic modules and assemblies, Proficient in 3D modeling software (CATIA preferred); ability to generate detailed 2D drawings, Familiarity with printed circuit board design and integration, Working knowledge of manufacturing processes for electronic and other products, Demonstrated ability to design plastic and metallic components, working with a variety of materials, analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and failure analysis, Experience with supplier development and working with contract manufacturers for key components, Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet schedule and cost commitments, Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, commitment to quality and continuous understanding of quality, performance, schedule, and cost objectives in a cross-functional environment, Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
