What They're Looking For.
Must Have
B. S. or equivalent in Mechanical engineering discipline, 5-7+ years of experience in product development of Li Ion Battery packs and Battery Management Systems, Working knowledge of 3D modeling software, Working knowledge of manufacturing processes for various electronics products including soldering, laser welding, Demonstrated ability to design plastic components, metallic components, working with various materials
Nice to Have
MSME preferred, Familiarity with Printed Circuit Board design desired

Design of Li Ion Battery packs including design of electronic packages for Battery management systems
Design using 3D modeling techniques
releasing 2D detailed drawings
creating and managing BOM from prototype level to mass production level of product development cycle in PLM system
Work with the product teams for power tool system integration including chargers and tools
Perform Structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis packages

Work with the model shop and suppliers to get the prototypes
