What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field, 2-3 years of electrical construction experience required, Electrical construction and installation experience necessary, OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance knowledge required, Understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and controls, Knowledge of electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, and distribution panels, Diverse background in electrical systems, low voltage, and instrumentation
Nice to Have
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project, Ability to function well in high-paced, stressful environments

Support Project Manager
Ensure technical accuracy of electrical aspects
Create efficient project methods
Maintain project profitability
Coordinate with Preconstruction Group
Ensure project compliance with codes
Maintain electrical documentation
Coordinate field testing
Coordinate field electrical testing
Gather and prepare data
Perform electrical material take-offs
Prepare purchase requisitions
Monitor delivery status
Assist PM in developing project schedules
Support development of Electrical Estimates
Assist PM in developing Site-Specific Health and Safety Plans
Ensure all activities comply with safety standards
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Cooperate and communicate with the Project Manager and project participants; Coordinate with Preconstruction Group; Coordinate field testing, verification, and commissioning with Superintendent; Gather and prepare data for submittal to customers, vendors, subcontractors, governmental agencies, and internal use; Coordinate with other divisions on estimates; Attend job walks

Position: Electrical Project Engineer Reports to: Project Manager Job Summary: Loenbro is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer who will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and other project participants as needed by ensuring the success of a project through the technical accuracy of all electrical aspects. Responsibilities: Project Engineering & Coordination: Cooperate and communicate with the Project Manager and project participants to create efficient project methods and maintain project profitability. Coordinate with Preconstruction Group for engineering requirements and ensure project compliance with NEC, NFPA, and other applicable electrical codes, standards, and specifications. Document & Quality Control: Maintain and organize all electrical documentation including schematics, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, specifications, change orders, and closeout documentation within Procore tools.
