_**Job Description:**_ Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Project Engineer. This individual will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects with a focus on learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies. The objective is to educate the employees in field and office operations while working from a construction project site for a minimum of six months and preferably for the duration of an entire construction project. **Some things you can expect to do:** * Help generate Requests For Information (RFIs) and track approvals. * Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination. * Learn project dimensional control requirements while field verifying dimensions to back check the shop drawing approval process. * Assist in the coordination and tracking of Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries. * Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures. * Gain an understanding for overall site logistics. * Participate in and gain an understanding of the city and jurisdictional permit inspection process. * Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs. * Accompany Ryan personnel (and Owner) on Punchlist inspections, record Punchlist items and monitor completion of Punchlist work. * Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule. **To be successful in this role, you must have:** * Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field. * Possess strong knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing. * Ability to perform mathematical calculations, understand architectural and engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems. * You also must be able to travel to project sites, assume responsibility, interface & communicate effectively. **You will really stand out if you have:** * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems. * Experience in Construction Management Softw
