D. degree, Experience with Crew Survival Systems, Experience with IVA or EVA Suit development, Experience with development of requirements documents, Experience with design, assembly, verification, testing, and operation of Space system hardware, Knowledge of space hardware field concepts, Ability to prepare written documents, Ability to verbally present at meetings, Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, Familiar with Johnson Space Center organizations, processes, and procedures

Because we have strong reason to believe the position will be approved soon, we are proceeding with identifying qualified candidates and conducting interviews. ** The Project Engineer will: Support the project in designing, developing, testing and certifying spacesuit-related hardware for spaceflight application. Creating safety products relevant to hardware to show requirement compliance and mission. Be an active participant in preparing and presenting content for design reviews with the HLS program. Lead/support any related team meetings or program meetings. Working with other project team members to ensure project requirements are achieved. Keep relevant program stakeholders abreast of project development and operational status. Shall provide statuses, schedule, and forward work information to ensure all necessary project objectives and milestones are being accomplished on time and within program/project resources.
