What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-7 years’ experience in mechanical design, Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering or a similar degree, Proficiency in Creo and/or SolidWorks software for design and drafting, Experience in preparing reports and managing project budgets, knowledge of Microsoft Office, Ability to attend surgeries and/or labs
Nice to Have
Medical device experience strongly preferred

Determine functional and design specifications
Create and maintain project plans
Manage project aspects
Ensure timely completion of tasks
Design and develop instruments and implants
Partner with prototype shop
Partner with outside vendors
Perform design verification
Perform design validation
Collaborate with marketing
Collaborate with product managers
Assist in writing regulatory applications
Partner with operations department
Participate in product introductions
Maintain post introduction monitoring
Address customer requests
Research industry and competitors
Ensure cutting edge technology

Represent company professionally
