Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, 2+ years of relevant discipline work experience, Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 7+ years of equivalent experience, 4+ years constructing and managing complex MEP systems, 3+ years managing general contractors and vendors
Nice to Have
Understanding of data center system-level architecture, Experience designing and managing construction of complex data centers, Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings, Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations, Certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), LEED, or Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Demonstrated ability to value engineer

As a Data Center Project Engineer, you will be part of a creative, diverse team tasked with solving fascinating problems in constructing Amazon Data Centers. Our data centers are industry examples of energy-efficient, cost-effective designs. You will work alongside partner teams such as Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to build Data Centers that directly support our customers. As our Data Center Project Engineer, you will support the teams that build some of the most interesting electrical and mechanical systems in the world. You will be on the construction site daily, interacting with construction managers and stakeholders, and be directly responsible for supporting the fast, high-quality delivery of our data center construction.
