What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Over fifteen years of multi-disciplinary infrastructure project delivery experience, Project Management/Engineering background, Design management experience, Project management experience, Contract administration experience, Highways and/or Local Transport market sector experience, Undertaking accountable Project Manager roles on multidisciplinary design projects (>£2M design fees per annum), Experience of working with multi-disciplinary design teams, Client facing and customer service skills, Ability to understand clients’ requirements, Ability to lead a delivery team, Demonstrating an appropriate level of knowledge, skills, and attitude, Trusted by peers, seniors, and clients, Fostering a collaborative environment, Excellent interpersonal skills, Sound business acumen, Risk/commercial awareness, Aptitude towards work winning through service delivery, Understanding of bid process, Understanding of different pricing models, Mindset for achieving the right outputs, Proactive and flexible working attitude, Agile in terms of client location, Adaptable, Responds positively in response to challenges, Current clean driving licence
Nice to Have
CEng MICE or equivalent professional qualifications, APM PMQ (or equivalent) recognised level of competence in Project Management, Understands and has experience in deploying various forms of construction contract, in particular NEC3 or 4 and/or bespoke forms of contract, Experience of working with National Highways and Principal Contractors, Understanding of National Highways Standards, Understanding of BIM

Overall delivery accountability
Project assurance of projects
Ensure projects are delivered safely
Appointment of suitably competent Project Managers
Assure project reports are true and accurate
Ensure appropriate reviews take place
Providing bid phase leadership
Ensure project management and contract administration
Ensure common understanding of requirements and scope
Leading the wider project team
and engaging with the client
Ensure delivery of projects in accordance with governance
Ensure projects are delivered to clients’ requirements
Mentoring and developing of Project Managers
Cognisant delivery of projects and tasks
