Full Job Description
As a Design Electrical/Mechanical Engineer, you will lead design projects in operational data centers, that remediate issues, upgrade our existing infrastructure and add new services. You will be the 'go to' engineering resource for these projects and will provide lifecycle support from design through implementation. Key job responsibilities You will use your Electrical/Mechanical expertise to: - Perform design and equipment submittal review for Data Centers in your region. - Interface with internal and external data center design engineering team, server hardware team, environmental health and safety team, field engineering, and controls engineering to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered. - Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions and act as a technical subject matter expert for your given discipline. - Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover. Are detail and data oriented with familiarity with design/construction processes - Have experience managing engineering projects and engineering consultants. Build trust and relationships with different stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Commissioning, Construction and Design) A day in the life Each day you will interact with different teams responsible for various aspects of the data centers. You will mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers in your discipline. You will have the opportunity to work on projects locally and globally, with up to 25% travel.
