What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of experience estimating or quoting electrical control panels / UL panel assemblies OR similar electro-mechanical products, Familiarity with CAD drawings, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams, Experience with BOM costing, supplier RFQs, and labor estimating, Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems, Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment
Nice to Have
Experience in a manufacturing, controls, or panel assembly environment, Associate / technical degree or better in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
What You'll Do.
Develop customer proposals and project quotations based on engineering designs
and customer specifications
Coordinate with the Materials team to obtain component pricing and supplier quotations
Collaborate with Operations and Production teams to estimate labor hours and build requirements
Work with Sales to align project pricing and margin objectives
Review project scope and manage quotation revisions or change orders as needed
and wiring diagrams to support accurate estimating
Coordinate with Engineering teams regarding component selection and technical requirements
Maintain organized estimating documentation and cost records
Support supplier RFQs
and cost normalization activities
Assist in continuously improving estimating processes and proposal accuracy
