What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in planning, estimating, facilities maintenance, or construction management required, Must be knowledgeable in maintenance and construction materials, methods, practices, and costs, Must be able to obtain and maintain CAC system clearances, A valid state driver’s license is required, Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
Nice to Have
Associate’s degree in construction or maintenance management preferred, Project Management Professional (PMP, Construction Quality Management for Contractors (U. S. Army Corps of Engineers), or equivalent preferred
What You'll Do.
Manage IQ task orders (projects) for technical disciplines
Develop project plans and specifications
Prepare estimates for vendors or subcontractors
Manage projects as assigned
Confer with engineers
Complete Job Plans for in-house work orders
Analyze blueprints and other documentation
Prepare cost and expenditure statements
Assess the cost effectiveness of products
Review material and labor requirements
Work closely with the Procurement Lead
Work closely with Maintenance Supervisors and shops
Work closely with subcontractors and DPW counterparts
Work closely with Tessera QC
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Confer with engineers, architects, customers, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates; Consult with clients, vendors, and/or foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues; Work closely with the Procurement Lead on key subcontracting actions; Work closely with Maintenance Supervisors and shops to ensure in-house projects are successful; Work closely with subcontractors and DPW counterparts to ensure projects are successful; Work closely with Tessera QC to ensure the QC plan is developed and executed
