What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, 3-5+ years of experience in cost management, project controls, financial analysis, or project delivery, Experience supporting large-scale capital projects
Nice to Have
Experience in data center or large scale capital deployments, Familiarity with project and cost management systems
What You'll Do.
Own project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, Maintain accurate cost-to-complete forecasts, Ensure alignment between project cost and schedule, Track project actuals, commitments, accruals, and forecasted spend, Perform variance analysis and identify cost trends, Analyze impacts of scope changes, Track and manage committed vs.
incurred spend, Review and validate contracts, change orders, and invoices, Establish and uphold cost control processes, Monitor actuals vs.
budget and forecast, Translate project developments into cost impacts, Identify cost and schedule risks and opportunities, Provide financial guidance on tradeoffs, Drive accountability and financial discipline, Coordinate cross-functional inputs, Support governance meetings and cost reviews, Deliver consistent reporting on budget status, Support FP&A processes for development capex, Foster open communication.
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Act as the primary finance partner to development and construction teams; Operate within cross-functional project teams; Partner with stakeholders on mitigation strategies; Act as the day-to-day finance partner to development, construction, engineering, and procurement teams; Partner with scheduling teams to align cost forecasts; Coordinate cross-functional inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams; Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers, teammates, and leaders across the organization
