What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field as finance, business, analytics, etc., Experience in the tasks represented above, Fluent control of the Dutch and English languages, Able to use MS Office and analytic tools easily and on a daily basis, Capable in preparing thorough and clear reports for higher management, Experience as a project controller for at least 5 years, Previous experience with SAP4H project module
Nice to Have
Fluency in French is a plus
What You'll Do.
Perform business and financial analyses on a project level
Identify and understand deviations
Introduce and implement improvements in all areas of the project
Ensure projects are properly supported by financial information
and ensure the accuracy of project forecasts
including cash flow forecast
Assess actual costs incurred
calculate work in progress and monitor projects progress and performance continuously during all phases
Provide financial and business analyses as required and point out any foreseen or unforeseen variances
Prepare and monitor the budget in conjunction with the Project manager for the projects assigned
Ensure accuracy of budget
following up on inconsistencies between actual expenses and budgeted figures
Control the set of financial KPI’s for the projects assigned and take appropriate action where and when required in a proactive manner
Control month-end closing and verify inconsistencies
Follow up on monthly provisions (cost & revenue)
ensuring completeness and accuracy and adjusting where needed
Support Project managers in ensuring adequate project cost control and project profitability in-line with the set financial objectives
Collaborate with Project managers and Reporting & Compliance to ensure project invoices are accurately prepared
punctually submitted and collected
Ensure that all relevant financial project master data is updated and maintained correctly
Proper filing of all financial project-related information
Review project activities for compliance with the company’s standards
Intervene where and when necessary
Proactively intervene

Create and establish KPI’s
and procedures with regards to the financials on the projects
Closely observe possible tax issues related to the assigned projects
Support Project managers with regards to invoicing
financial terms & conditions

Propose improvement actions to Business operations and follow up on these
Key user in implementing the new IT landscape
Provide regular and accurate project reports (including budget
