Full Job Description
SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the LA Office Administrator and according to established Firm policies and procedures, the Project Assistant performs a variety of administrative duties for Firm clients. The Project Assistant will work collaboratively with teams on specific short and long-term projects. Oversee tasks as delegated, coordinate with case teams. Highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work collaboratively with the paralegals, attorneys, staff and team(s) to maximize productivity. - Monitor and distribute case documents daily. - Assist in managing high volume case files. - Organize and maintain case folders in iManage and the L-drive. - Report updates verbally and in written form to case teams. - Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as correspondence, legal documents, filing, fielding calls, expenses, invoices, travel, and visas. - Input, edit, and proofread attorney and other legal personnel time entry. - Assist with overflow support as needed. - Manage requests; includes organizing, submitting, and monitoring workflow. - Other duties as assigned. The employee must be able to perform all essential job duties and responsibilities of this position satisfactorily and as outlined, with or without reasonable accommodation. QUALIFICATIONS: - High School/GED required; minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving; able to proactively address potential issues. - Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office; significant hands-on experience with legal-specific software. - Collaborative working style and team-player attitude. - Able to work independently with little supervision; highly motivated with a strong work ethic. - Outstanding organizational skills and ability to pri
