Perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with Section 28 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments—Duties of Workers., Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area and perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with the safety policies., Maintain excellent housekeeping in addressing hazards, defective equipment, wearing personal protective equipment as required, and reporting unsafe conditions immediately.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum two (2) years experience in running progressive dies.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with and knowledge of safe press and weld operations an asset.
What You'll Do.
Assist in setting up equipment and machinery as required.
Responsible for the operation of presses.
Perform and document Quality Assurance first-off
and last-off inspections on all parts as per the Control Plan and advise Team Leader and/or Supervisor of non-conforming conditions.
Document results and correction actions as required.
Rotate and operate all Progressive Die equipment as assigned.
Complete Production Traceability Reports as per station control.
Responsible for producing quality parts that are in compliance with standard rates while adhering to customer requirements.
Perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with Section 28 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments—Duties of Workers.
Follow Magna’s Code of Conduct and Ethics and related compliance policies.
