Full Job Description

This position is located at 101 E 15th St, Austin, Texas in the Division of Fraud Deterrence and Compliance. You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas. WHO YOU ARE: The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment and work in the Austin office Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.  WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Program Supervisor I-II performs routine to moderately complex (journey-level) administrative and supervisory program work. Works under moderate to general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.  YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO: -Supervise the work of assigned program staff and provides training and technical assistance in the program area.  -Prepare and review reports on the effectiveness of program activities. -Confer with staff on program issues and problems to identify and implement solutions.  -Plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate programs. -Assist in the development of program guidelines, procedures, and policies; and monitors compliance with policies and procedures.  -Assist in the preparation of training and operational manuals, educational and marketing matter.  -May provide training or technical assistance in a program area.  -Perform related work as assigned.  YOU QUALIFY WITH: -Program Supervisor I: Six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpr
