You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas. WHO YOU ARE: The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive individual with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and program management. They possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to provide high-quality technical assistance to grantees and stakeholders. A collaborative spirit is essential, as the role requires working effectively with internal teams and external partners to achieve common goals. Furthermore, the ideal candidate is adept at identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and maximize the effectiveness of our programs, ultimately leading to improved outcomes for adult learners.   WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Program Specialist IV performs highly complex (senior-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.   YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO: -Perform a variety of technical, training, research, planning, policy, program assessment, and administrative activities for assigned program(s), with a primary focus on Adult Education and Literacy programs. -Provide timely technical assistance to Adult Education and Literacy grantees. -Analyze performance da
