bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, health sciences, or a related discipline, knowledge of tutoring and/or teaching pedagogy, experience in higher education or another academic environment, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, ability to learn new technologies, enthusiastic commitment to lifelong learning and supporting the growth and success of all students and staff
Nice to Have
master’s degree, previous leadership or supervisory experience, experience working with diverse populations, experience working in a college level tutoring program or another student success program

The Science Resource Center program manager is instrumental in supporting student success by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where students are empowered to become independent learners through individualized academic support. The program manager also supports tutors by offering guidance and professional development opportunities while balancing their tutoring schedule.
