The Science Resource Center program manager is instrumental in supporting student success by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where students are empowered to become independent learners through individualized academic support. The program manager also supports tutors by offering guidance and professional development opportunities while balancing their tutoring schedule. Reporting to the science tutoring coordinator with a “dotted line” relationship to the Learning Center director as a member of the Learning Center core team, specific activities include recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and mentoring ~25 peer and/or professional science tutors; utilizing tutor scheduling s
