Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

Bachelor's degree Degree in a related field, 2 years Experience working in GME in an acute hospital setting, Experience in the diplomatic approach to problem solving, Display leadership and sound organizational and analytical skills, Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail, Service oriented and responsive to questions and requests, Ability to interact in a professional, resourceful, and courteous manner, Proficient knowledge and skills in computer, Microsoft Office Suite and applicable software, Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and systems, interpersonal skills, Actively cooperates and supports the work of others, Ability to complete work and meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to manage short and competing deadlines

Nice to Have

8-10 years of experience in Graduate Medical Education in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree

What You'll Do.

Coordinate activities to execute quality and improvement programs

Provide strategic guidance to teams and program stakeholders

Oversee the progress of program operations

giving detailed attention to strategy

Delegate project tasks

Oversee program implementation

Assist in the deployment of support tools

Ensure effective use of support tools on an operational basis

program roll out and program facilitation

Manage daily operations of Graduate Medical Education

Liaise between hospitals and GME Office

Provide project management and implementation oversight

Manage the on-boarding process

Provide day to day troubleshooting and support

Interface with Health Science Campus constituency

Assist in managing programs according to deadlines

Delegate and supervise daily work of GME IT provisioning team member

Administer resident timekeeping system

Provision Cerner accounts

Manage resident portion of ECHO medical staff database

Validate monthly invoices for reimbursement

Process invoices for payment

Ensure resident profile is set up and maintained in iRotations

Manage budget to meet fiscal goals

Perform financial and staffing analysis

Provide continual guidance post accreditation

Ensure compliance with organization policies/procedures

Ensure regulatory compliance

Ensure effective utilization of personnel

Ensure effective customer service

recommend and implement internal policies and procedures

Interpret and apply company policies/procedures

Coordinate processes for residents and fellows

Establish and maintain quality control activities

Collaborate with Infection Prevention on hand hygiene reports

Act as Liaison with USC Media Relations for film crews

Conduct needs assessment and gap analysis of GME

Create action/remediation plans

Provide analysis and support for turning around struggling programs

Prepare presentations and reports

Manage resident physician orientation

Oversee student workers and student volunteers

Oversee department staff management

Facilitate annual resident orientation

Facilitate on-boarding of LIP students

Facilitate screening of observers

Facilitate screening and provisioning of research volunteers

Interpret and apply ACGME policies

Communicate with Resident Program Coordinators

Ensure maintenance of Resident files

Act as system administrator for University iVIP accounts

Organize and manage resident and medical student support programs

Facilitate cooperative and collaborative community and institutional relationships

Participate/Lead in committees to establish program standards

Perform other duties as assigned
