Do you have a solid procurement background, excel at program and stakeholder management, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are hiring a Program Manager - Procurement Excellence to work closely with procurement stakeholders, operations, functions, systems and engineering to enable scalable, well-controlled business processes and decision-making. This role sits within a broader team of program managers that operates as highly embedded business partners to procurement, focused on operational effectiveness and impact, scalable mechanisms, and risk-informed execution. The ideal candidate combines strong business process thinking, stakeholder influence, operational rigor, and technical literacy to help teams move quickly while maintaining appropriate risk and control standards. The ideal candidate require a high tolerance of ambiguity aligned to AWS Day 1 culture, ability to influence executive decisions, drive strategic initiatives and change management that deliver meaningful programmatic improvements. This is not a traditional audit or policy-focused role. We designed this role for individuals who enjoy solving operational problems, driving influence and alignment across teams, and building scalable mechanisms in fast-paced environments. Over time, this role has opportunity to evolve toward broader technical program management style leadership responsibilities.
