Must Have

Current RN License in the state in which they are working or covered by compact, Bachelor of Science Nursing, Master of Science, Nursing or related healthcare field, 5 years of related experience including 2 years in leadership role (formal/informal) with significant impact nursing outcomes, Previous experience and knowledge with the Magnet or Pathways to Excellence recognition programs

Nice to Have

Nurse leader or professional development, Post-graduate or DNP, Experience as a Magnet Program Director, ANCC Adam and Adam Plus on-line submission platform, Project Management Training

What You'll Do.

Advance the practice of professional nursing

Integrate core concepts of Professional Practice Model

Elevate the practice of nursing

Coordinate Magnet processes

Liaise with ANCC Magnet Program Office

Assess Magnet recognition program gap analysis

Propose action plans for identified gaps

Develop strategies to implement Chief Nurse’s vision

and editing documents

Direct Magnet site visit

Integrate organizational initiatives and professional nursing concepts

and dissemination of nurse-sensitive outcome data

Apply evidence-based practices to improve nursing practice

Support nursing leadership in monitoring compliance

Coordinate site nursing satisfaction survey

Disseminate site/market results

Serve as internal consultant to nursing leadership

Develop staff/interdisciplinary education

Facilitate nursing shared governance model

Promote professional image of nursing

Lead inter-professional collaboration activities

Facilitate clinical advancement program

Align program with Magnet model

Sustain and improve professional nursing practice

Provide evidence to support educational content

Provide communication and articles to marketing team

Mentor nurses to achieve specialty certification

Mentor nurses to achieve advanced degrees

Mentor nurses to submit evidence-based abstracts
