Full Job Description
The Program Manager for Network Design & Configurations plays a critical role in driving capacity, speed, and cost optimization across Amazon's entire transportation network in India. This position serves as the strategic bridge between business operations, technical systems, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless network evolution and operational excellence. Key job responsibilities Network Planning & Execution: Lead end-to-end planning and execution across Sort Centers, Fulfillment Centers, Last Mile, Middle Mile, and Line Haul operations. Ensure operational readiness for network changes by aligning go-live dates, designing containerization strategies, managing pre-configuration requirements, coordinating padding strategies, and integrating inputs into peak and business-as-usual forecasting plans. Strategic Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to provide design guidance, drive rapid decision-making, and own network design changes that enable speed improvements and cost reductions. Support partner-driven programs and initiatives across the transportation ecosystem. Quality Deployment Management: Identify stakeholder needs and key performance indicators, facilitate trade-off decisions considering customer experience, financial goals, compliance, process dependencies, metrics, quality, and efficiency. Guide teams on iterative improvements and deployment excellence. Global Tool Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end onboarding for global tool implementations in the India region, ensuring alignment with global parity standards. Develop and execute strategic onboarding plans with defined timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
