Full Job Description
Customer Trust External Relations (CTXR) ensures global thought-leaders, brands, policymakers, regulators, consumer advocates, and media understand how Amazon delivers our trustworthy shopping experience by (1) delivering evidence and telling stories that persuasively demonstrate the reality of the customer-obsessed tools our teams build to protect our customers, brands, and selling partners, (2) accelerating and strengthening third-party, influential relationships and partnerships all over the world that raise the bar for retail to consumers’ benefit, and (3) serving as a “voice of the customer” for product and tech teams. We are looking for a self-motivated and results-oriented Program Manager (PM) based in Amazon HQ2 (Arlington, VA) who will execute and support the team on complex projects across multiple initiatives, proactively drive program improvements and mechanisms, oversee vendor contracts, team budget, goal tracking, and other ad-hoc projects that drive efficiency and deliver results. This individual will work closely with various senior leaders, as well as administrative, Finance, and HR partners to ensure we structure, prioritize, and track programs that execute on our vision. The PM will be part of a global Strategic Initiatives team that drives centralization and adoption of mechanisms and strives for operational excellence. This role requires high attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. The candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, fluid environment, while maintaining great flexibility, a sense of humor and composure. They should also be proactive in understanding and communicating critical business needs, and knows how those translate into solutions. This person must have experience building long-term, strategic relationships, and becoming influential partners.
