Full Job Description
Amazon.com’s Legal Department is looking for a smart and highly motivated program manager to assist AWS in efforts to address complex legal and policy issues effecting Amazon’s business and customers. A successful candidate will be able to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing, manage high volumes of tasks and projects, react with appropriate urgency depending on circumstances, think creatively and strategically, and exercise strong judgment. Key job responsibilities - Creating strong coordination mechanisms between internal team members and across other teams, - Tracking the progress of different projects, - Troubleshooting problems, clearly communicating objectives, and ensuring excellence in work product and accountability regarding deliverables, - Keeping team members informed by providing regular updates on progress on important initiatives, and - Evaluating and measuring success of ongoing projects and initiatives to identify anything that requires intervention or changes.
