Full Job Description
Do you want to be part of an organization that is developing and launching new business models? If so, Amazon’s Network Engineering & Scheduling Technology (NEST) team is looking for an experienced Program Manager with a strong record of achieving results, to own and drive accurate load scheduling for a quickly growing business segment within North America. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about building new businesses, solving complex problems for our customers, and establishing end-to-end transportation scheduling processes. Amazon transportation encompasses all of the operations that deliver worldwide shipments to and from our fulfillment centers and third-party locations. The NEST team needs exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people to design, develop, and improve our transportation systems. Key job responsibilities - Communicate analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing - Create and maintain tools and reports that support both Senior leadership as well as Operators at the site level - Partner with teams across the business you support and beyond to source, allocate, and coordinate resources - Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks) - Manage multiple ongoing priorities and closely adhere to internal team and stakeholder SLAs - Design new metrics and enhance existing metrics to support the future state of business processes and ensure sustainability and scalability - Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources in order to provide visibility to pending changes - Drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce waste sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format - Maintain/update documentation for internal training and reference - Onboarding, training, and managing new team members - Communicate analysis and insights to stakeholders and bus
