Key Job Responsibilities : Drive infotainment/navigation features from concept → SOP → post-launch updates Define scope, roadmap, milestones, and release plans Align features with vehicle platform timelines Responsible for ensuring Product Delivery as per the specified requirements, timelines and cost Coordination of test activities at Mercedes-Benz Germany for the component and system testing Accountable for effort estimations and work breakdown Responsible for implementing Project Management practices to comply with the V-model for development Responsible for mentoring and overseeing the activities of the Product Development team with an aim to improve the overall Product Understanding Track emerging technologies in mobility, AI, UX, and location services Evaluate innovations in AR navigation, predictive routing, voice AI, and personalization Navigation System Delivery : Points of Interest (POI) services Map data integration Coordination with Map Providers like Google, HERE, Map My India etc. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work across multiple domains Embedded software teams Cloud backend teams UX/UI designers Voice & AI teams Connectivity teams Vehicle E/E architecture teams Cybersecurity & data privacy teams Basic Qualification : Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics/ Masters in Computer Applications 12-15 years of overall experience in automotive product development activities including project management, requirements engineering, system analysis and validation Good understanding of Infotainment and Navigation Must have played a key role in the complete product lifecycle of at least 4 - 5 Product Development projects Good exposure to configuration management tools like SAFe, Agile, Atlasian tools, MS Project, and SAP Must have played a key role in the complete product lifecycle of at least 4 - 5 Product Development projects Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
