Master's degree or equivalent, Master's degree in a related discipline, such as education or social work, or JD candidates with relevant work experience, 8 - 10 years of relevant experience, demonstrated experience with education administration, K-12 education policy, and knowledge of the Washington, D. C. educational landscape, Demonstrated program administration, managerial, fundraising, and budgetary skills
What You'll Do.
Manages the day-to-day operations of the MBCLP AUWCL chapter
Implements program initiatives
Supports the program's overall functioning
Coordinates major program activities
such as the local moot court competition and related events
Builds and maintains relationships with high school and community partners
and other stakeholders
Oversees the recruitment and selection process for Marshall-Brennan teaching fellows
Oversees the MBCLP budget
Prepares regular reports on the status of program operations and sustainability initiatives
Supports the Marshall-Brennan national network of MBCLP chapters by advising and collaborating with chapter directors
Coordinates the annual national moot court competition and national conference
Develops new partnerships
Contributes to strategic planning for the program’s growth and development
Coordinates the teaching fellow school assignments
annual orientation program
and professional development programs
Assists with the AUWCL chapter’s long-term sustainability by supporting fundraising efforts
Develops and manages an alumni network
Pursues foundation grants
Ensures grant compliance and donor stewardship

Partnering with the Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence and Leadership Development; Advising and collaborating with chapter directors across participating law schools, law firms, and other organizations; Working with the Assistant Dean and the Office of Institutional Advancement
