What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or its equivalency, 2-4 years Coaching and event related work experience, Experience with working with youth (ages 5-16), Commitment to the mission, vision and core values of the LA Galaxy, Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment, Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems, exercising good judgement, Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with other departments, Knowledge of youth soccer landscape in Southern California, Proficient in account management database systems and ability to learn required business systems, Excellent Customer Service Skills, Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook, Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, Highly motivated, with a positive attitude, Detail oriented and ability to work independently

What You'll Do.
Serve as an on-site leader and primary coach resource for LA Galaxy youth soccer programming
Focus on technical program execution
Coach recruitment and development
Relationship driven representation of the LA Galaxy brand
Strengthen consistency and quality of current programming
Support new initiatives that expand the LA Galaxy pathway
Deepen community impact
Drive long-term program growth throughout Southern California
Represent the LA Galaxy at youth soccer programs and events
Build relationships with coaches
Uphold organizational values and brand standards
Assist with coach development and education
Observe coaching performance during sessions
Provide on-site feedback
Assist with coverage needs
Document development or discipline recommendations
Serve as Coach program liaison at assigned programs

Coordinate soccer equipment needs
Ensure required program equipment is prepared and distributed
Support coach recruiting
and onboarding efforts
Collaborate on recruitment strategies
Help prepare coaches for successful program delivery
Contribute to curriculum development and execution

Perform other programming department duties as assigned
