Must Have
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience or Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience, Additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree, No clearance required to start, Experience with financial analysis or reporting, Experience with MS Office Suite, Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
Nice to Have
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration, Defense industry experience, Program Cost Control experience, Experience with FAR/DFAR, Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, Primavera or SAP, Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
What You'll Do.
Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work
Assist with financial analyses such as funding profiles
cash forecasting and variance analysis
Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures
Direct preparation for expenditure projections
Submit timely requests for additional funding to the government
Support intercompany programs
Support the site General Manager
Set up cost control system
monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
Support audits and reviews requested by programs
and company management
Provide fact-finding and negotiation support
Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development
cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports
development and analysis of estimates to complete
