What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 1+ years of professional experience, Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree, Experience with financial analysis or reporting, Experience with MS Office Suite, Requires an active U. S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access
Nice to Have
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application., Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration, Defense industry experience, Earned Value Management (EVM) experience, Program Cost Control experience, Experience with FAR/DFAR, Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, Primavera or SAP
What You'll Do.
Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work
Assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles
cash forecasting and variance analysis
Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures
Direct preparation for expenditure projections
Submit timely requests for additional funding to the government
Set up cost control system
monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
Support audits and reviews requested by programs
and company management
Provide fact-finding and negotiation support
Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development
cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports
development and analysis of estimates to complete

Team & Collaboration
Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management; Provide fact-finding and negotiation support
Process & Methodology
cost control system setup, cost monitoring, schedule monitoring, contract work budgets and schedules preparation, Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, estimates to complete development and analysis
