Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Administrative Health Care or another related field, three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience, Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, Must maintain positive communication with Faculty, Chairs, and Directors in Aims Community College departments, Willing and capable of traveling to locations outside of Greeley, to other Aims campuses and divisional partners, Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office Products, Experience working with confidential documents, Cover Letter, Resume
Nice to Have
Experience working in higher education with Allied Health/Healthcare programs, Preferred work experience with CTE programs in a community college setting, Experience with healthcare specialized accrediting bodies, Be well-versed in medical legal language and have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with other healthcare providers, a wide range of individuals, and constituencies, Preferred work experience in a community college
What You'll Do.
Coordinate academic program functions across all Allied Health programs
Coordinate Health Sciences/Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy department
Align human resources
Ensure learner-centered college services
Identify strategic initiatives for the division
Assist in development of CTE reports
Maintain faculty healthcare documents
Represent AH programs at budget meetings
Represent AH programs in compliance meetings
Answer background check/drug screen questions
Complete requisitions for approved purchases
Participate in chair training and assessment meetings
Attend and coordinate Advisory Committee meetings
Conduct tours of Allied Health labs
Solicit nominations for Distinguished Scholar award
Write grant applications
Assist with yearly career fair planning
Represent AH programs at community career fairs
Update promotional fliers and websites
Conduct health requirement verification sessions
Assist with development of accrediting body reports
Make instructor copies of new textbooks available
Assist with departmental ordering
Complete Bookstore Adoption forms
Meet with program chair to discuss changes
Organize and lead information and orientation sessions
Confirm CTE teaching certificate for faculty
Maintain student files and records
Prepare student health records for clinical sites
Coordinate partnerships with outside clinical agencies
Collaborate with Registration Department to approve student registrations
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Working with faculty, chairs, program directors, administrative staff, and the Dean; Serves as a liaison between various Allied Health programs and external partners; Collaborate with the Registration Department
Communication Scope
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills; Maintain positive communication; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
