Full Job Description

Role Logistics: Location : Remote (can be fully remote, CET hours preferred) Project Length : 12 month contract Required qualifications: * Fluent in English and preferably some understanding of German. * Demonstrated expertise in plain language, readability, tone, and brand voice development, experience with technical or product copy and financial disclosures a plus. * Experience in leading and coordinating a team. * Hold an interest in cars. * Moderate knowledge of vehicle technology and aftermarket processes. * Experience with AI-assisted writing tools and language automation in a sales/retail context, including financial content workflows. * Knowledge of Office package and JIRA, Confluence, Salesforce. * Ability to relate to, and meet, sometimes short critical deadlines. * Meticulous mindset. * Good networking skills. * Problem-solving and critical thinking Tasks and working method: * Identify language-related risks (ambiguous vehicle specifications, financing terms, tone discrepancies, bias, inclusivity) and implement preventive measures in all NSC touchpoints. * Establish metrics and dashboards to track language quality, translation turnaround times. * Drive continuous improvement through audits, feedback loops, and maintenance of linguistic resources (glossaries, style guides, term bases) specific to automotive sales, financing, insurance, and aftersales. * Validation of new and modified technical terminology. * Suggesting improvements to the terminology. * Respond to e-mail enquiries about terminology. * Evaluate translations and translation service providers. * Coordinator of Language Champions and SPOC towards other business areas and AG. * Capacity planning of other Language Champions. * Available capacity for tasks as Language Champion. Other: * Detailed tasks are defined in consultation with the respective business areas.
