What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions, Bachelor’s Degree required with a business or technical emphasis, Fluent in English language
Nice to Have
relevant experience within the automotive industry preferred, SAP ERP experience desired but not mandatory
What You'll Do.
Responsibility and tracking of sourcing and launch related activities
Report supplier readiness and cost status
Prepare and lead supplier negotiations
invite and execute supplier workshops
Applying of existing Lessons Learned
Apply and ensure continuous improvement methodology
Support cost estimate and target price setting
Purchasing Process Execution
Order processing and supervision of prototypes
definition and tracking of cost-saving potentials
Monitor and track costed BOM
preparation and presentation of project-relevant data
Creating and maintain an expert understanding of the supplier markets
Support acquisition projects
Act as "Head of project"
Being PUR representative in all relevant project meetings
Prepare and present project-relevant data
Drive acquisition projects
Monitoring safe and timely launch activities
First escalation level
