Nice to Have
Early Childhood Education (ECE) units and/or experience in a childcare setting, Experience with data entry, Experience supporting family-facing or community-based programs
What You'll Do.
Report to and collaborate with the Program Administrator
Support the Center with programmatic and administrative tasks
Handle phone calls and miscellaneous clerical duties
Assist with new family center tours
participant registration and placement into appropriate programming
Help ensure the Center is presentable
and fully equipped for programming
Support general Center duties as part of a collaborative team
Help create marketing materials for events and classes
Serve as the warm and welcoming presence for new and returning families
Provide interpretation for Spanish-speaking families and staff
Translate materials between English and Spanish
Coordinate and provide interpretation for workshops and classes as needed
Coordinate and lead designated open play space activities
dynamic programming experiences for children and families
Provide childwatch during designated times when parents are participating in adult-only programming
Implement a class each session after receiving training
Support outreach opportunities and community engagement efforts
Receive training to administer Ages and Stages developmental screenings and conduct screenings each session
Receive Community Health Worker (CHW) certification in alignment with CalAIM requirements to support family engagement
and education services
Coordinate and manage Parent Volunteers to support Center programming
Support events and Center visits as needed
