What You'll Achieve.
Ensure efficient management, planning, allocation, and utilization of all data center power, space, and cooling (PSC) resources; Assist with efforts facilitating system transition to cloud environments and downsizing of local data centers; Maintain an accurate site data center baseline; Develop and maintain site’s “PSC Dashboard” for site leadership insight; Develop and manage site level PSC metrics and data distribution to stakeholders; Work with sites to adopt standardized DC access processes
Industry & Context.
Analyze system level power, space, and cooling requirements; Review, analyze, and comment on Change Requests; Evaluate system level impacts
Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance, US Citizenship required, Travel required (10-25%), Onsite work location

What You'll Do.
Provide Data Center Management expertise
Understand Data Center Management functions
Articulate enterprise directives
Ensure efficient PSC resource utilization
Review data center activities
Recommend DCIM tools implementation
Update Data Center Strategic Plan
Represent integration boards
Facilitate system transition to cloud
Downsize local data centers
Attend milestone meetings
Support technical exchange meetings
Analyze system level requirements
Review and comment on Change Requests
Coordinate DC related impacts
Support permit reviews
Assist with Data Center Strategic Plan development
Manage equipment rack relocations
Review site integration and technical standards
Support DC project funding requests
Coordinate DC requirements
Support consolidated system level impacts
Review and comment on renovation designs
Optimize PSC resources
Support program level briefings
Coordinate/respond to Action Items
Utilize configuration management tools
Review and provide feedback on directives
Assist with development of PSC Dashboard
Assist with development of PSC metrics
Manage and implement site level processes
Evaluate access control infrastructure
Adopt standardized DC access processes
