Our multi-disciplined team of engineering and design professionals is looking for a Professional Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in building and industrial power, lighting, and signal system design to join our Rail team in Seattle, WA. What You’ll Do As part of our Rail Electrical team, you’ll collaborate with experts across Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, and Architecture disciplines to deliver innovative solutions for Class I Railroads and Mass Transit organizations nationwide. From new facilities to major renovations, your work will help keep critical infrastructure moving. In this role, you’ll: - Lead electrical engineering efforts from concept through construction – creating safe, reliable, and sustainable designs that meet client needs. - Design power systems, including industrial and commercial applications, generators, and EV charging infrastructure. - Develop interior and exterior lighting designs, site power plans, one-lines, panelboard schedules, conduits/cable layouts, and detailed construction drawings. - Support construction administration by responding to contractor RFIs, reviewing submittals, and performing site observations to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. ## Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Washington or the ability to obtain registration within twelve to eighteen months of employment.
