Must Have

Technical college education, CET/CTech or Electrician’s/Journeyman designation/license, Proven experience with low and medium voltage equipment, Minimum of 5 years’ experience in testing, troubleshooting & failure analysis of electrical equipment, Sound theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience on electrical testing, Ability to test low and medium voltage products, Ability to work closely with Engineering, Ability to follow ITP’s and perform FAT’s, Ability to meet project deadlines, Ability to train others, Manage teams in varied settings, Capable of managing technical tasks with minimal supervision, Possess analytical skills, Ability to interpret schematics, Proficient in using computer systems, Possess interpersonal skills, Possess communication skills (written and oral), Willingness to train personnel, Oversee teams, Perform as part of a team, Safety glasses and equipment for daily use, Hand protection, Hearing protection when required, Steel or Composite toe boots or shoes, Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity, Comfortable with occasional repetitive motions, Must be able to follow instructions, Stay alert to potential hazards, Must be able to access and navigate each department, Availability for travel between local facilities

The Production Testing Technician is responsible for testing low and medium voltage products including electrical Switchgear, Switchboards, Panelboards, Breaker’s and MCC’s. The Electrical Testing Technician ensures that products meet the industry standards and client specifications. Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday; 6AM- 4:30PM OR Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday; 6AM- 4:30PM Responsibilities The following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. MCG retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant. * Strong ability to test low and medium voltage products including electrical Switchgear, Switchboards, Panelboards, Breaker’s and MCC’s. * Ability to work closely with Engineering and identify issues with electrical drawings. * Ability to follow ITP’s and perform FAT’s. * Maintain Repair/Calibration database. * Job entries & maintenance of records on database including associated paperwork and time tracking. * Prepare detailed service and failure records. * Ability to meet project deadlines and strong focus on customers. * Ability to train others an
