Industry & Context.
Safety glasses and equipment for daily use, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn, Hand protection, either cut resistant gloves or Leather work gloves as appropriate, Hearing protection when required, Steel or Composite toe boots or shoes for daily use, Physical exertion may vary depending on position type, May be required to regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, frequently stand or walk around the work area, lift or move objects up to 50 lbs, Assembling may involve manipulating small parts and using hand tools, Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential, Comfortable with occasional repetitive motions, Must be able to follow instructions and stay alert to potential hazards on the shop floor, Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities, Manufacturing facilities can be loud and have bright lights, Subjective to seasonal weather conditions (hot in summer and cold in winter months), Availability to travel, as needed, between MCG manufacturing facilities (Stone Mountain, North Wales & West Chester) and/or client sites, Some travel will require overnight stays, Infrequent travel for installation/service deployment
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR relevant experience, Satisfactory completion of additional background screening (if applicable), Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
OSHA10, CPR, electrical/ control systems background, PLC experience
What You'll Do.
Pre-Test/QC and Test completed systems
Assemble control panels and equipment to meet client and product specifications
Use hand and power tools as required
Read and understand electrical schematics
Take direction from Managers and Team leads
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Wear proper work attire and PPE
Perform other duties as assigned
