The ProductionTechnician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated welding cells to ensure consistent, high-quality welds across production runs. This role combines hands-on fabrication skills with basic robot programming/teaching, equipment troubleshooting, and quality inspection. Operators ensure the weld cell runs safely, efficiently, and within defined process parameters What You’ll Do Load/Unload parts, fixtures, and tooling in a robotic welding cell. Interface with operating software to effectively run the necessary parts. Verify correct part orientation, clamping and fixturing. Collect and annotate data (e.g., imagery, sensor readings, 3D scans, or operational logs). Monitor system performance and report hardware, software, or network issues. Ensure data quality and integrity, verifying that all required parameters are captured. Collaborate with engineering to optimize collection protocols. Maintain operational logs and safety compliance during remote or autonomous operation.
