Full Job Description
The posting notice is for 1 existing vacancy. Tayco is currently looking for 1 full time and ambitious Production Team Member to join our dynamic team and help us reach a new vision. The team member will play an important role across multiple areas of the Production Team, helping to ensure we consistently produce high-quality products that meet our customers’ needs. The successful candidate may be required to work from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. while undergoing training; upon successful completion of training, their core working hours will transition to 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Flexibly performs all jobs as designated by Tayco which may include, but is not limited to: * Panel Upholstery * Panel Assembly, both Switch and Cosmo Products * Metal Machine Operation * Wood Product Assembly * Prep & Packaging * Shipping * Wood Machine Operation * Packaging – Order Optimization * Material Consolidation * Seating Sewing & Assembly * Paint Line Loading * Follow all production procedures as instructed. * Understand and review the product through specified production process, recognizing areas of defect and taking appropriate actions to rectify them. * Perform all work to Tayco standards and ensure final product meets quality standards. * Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to Team Lead and/or Production Supervisor. * Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency. * Assure the daily and weekly production schedule is adhered to. * Complies with all company health and safety policies and procedures at all times. Without limitation, wears Personal Protective Equipment at all times in accordance with Tayco's policies. * Maintains a clean and well-organized work area. * Provides SOP process familiarization and orientation. * Works overtime as required. * Performs other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of management. * Openly participate in educational and cross-training opportunities as applicabl
