Must Have
High school diploma or GED, Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
What You'll Do.
Oversee and direct production associates
Ensure daily pre-shift meetings are used effectively
Implement efficient utilization of equipment and manpower
Communicate production concerns to Production Manager(s)
Provide status reports
Remove problems to ensure production requirements are met
Provide formal and informal performance feedback
Conduct formal performance evaluations
Utilize individual corrective action plans
Provide training to associates
Apply progressive discipline to associates
Maintain associate documentation
Lead department in improving methods and equipment
Require associates to comply with safety policies
Enforce safety policies through accountability
Ensure associates have a workplace free from hazards
Comply with Occupational Safety and Health standards
Assist in conducting accident/incident investigations
Implement corrective action for accidents
Conduct monthly safety inspections
Implement corrective action for inspections
Support goals on Employee Opinion Survey
Follow operating principles
