# ******Job Description Summary****** Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. # **Job Description** _**Funciones y responsabilidades**_ * Production Supervisor is in charge of an specific area and shift for GE Aerospace set of products. The main objective is to produce quality parts, in the right quantity, at the right time and at minimum cost. It also seeks to continually improve the efficiency, organize and recommend strategies to ensure that the product is developed successfully, in accordance with all specifications. Supervise Shift leaders and technicans that work in operations and product development. Supervise and follow up production plan and WIP tracker for CNC machine operations and NON-CNC operations such a washing, CMM, manual measurements, and assure they have the necessary material, tools, gages, documentation to perform their operations. Help to achieve quality, safety, equipment, autonomous maintenance, and supplies standards. Follow and enforce the code of ethics. Respect and compliance with Quality Policy, Health and Safety standards and Quality Management System. _**Calificaciones Básicas**_ * CNC Manufacturing process background, Lean knowledge PDCA, SMED, inspection methods reading and use of measuring instruments, Interpretation of GD&T geometric planes and tolerances. * Engineering Bachelor’s degree, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic _**Características deseadas**_ * CNC machining background preferred * 3-5 year experience in a similar position * Able to handle people, conflict management * Turning, milling experience, airfoil milling desirable * Health and Safety OS
