Our locations in Atlanta, GA, Fort Wayne, IN, and Fort Worth, TX have focused on the production of sheet metal and rod products for various industries since 1986. Through quality and service, our customer base has grown to cover all parts of North America including Canada and Mexico. To continue to improve upon quality and consistency, we continue to grow and add new capabilities, including highly automated manufacturing equipment. We are seeking dynamic candidates who enjoy a fast-paced and team oriented work environment supported by a company with the motto "Customers first, employees always!" Title: Production Supervisor Reports to : Plant Manager Job Purpose : Ultimately responsible for the day-to-day departmental operations. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities : * Lead set up and changeover activity on machinery * Support and monitor production activity to ensure operators are following standard work instructions and are meeting quality specifications * Audit compliance with standard work instructions and process control plans to ensure production of good parts. * Maintain and audit production information within the company's ERP system * Maintain production related documents and logs to ensure availability and accuracy. * Monitor production activity to ensure it is aligned with customer demand and corporate inventory goals. * Lead department scheduling efforts * Review un-planned scrap with employees to identify root cause and implement effective countermeasures. * Oversee the professional development and periodic evaluation of direct reports. * Identify employee development opportunities and enlist appropriate corporate personnel to assist in construction and implementation of training programs that are comprehensive and regularly reinforced. * Periodica
