Title: Production Supervisor Reports to : Plant Manager Job Purpose : Ultimately responsible for the day-to-day departmental operations. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities : * Lead set up and changeover activity on machinery * Support and monitor production activity to ensure operators are following standard work instructions and are meeting quality specifications * Audit compliance with standard work instructions and process control plans to ensure production of good parts. * Maintain and audit production information within the company's ERP system * Maintain production related documents and logs to ensure availability and accuracy. * Monitor production activity to ensure it is aligned with customer demand and corporate inventory goals. * Lead department scheduling efforts * Review un-planned scrap with employees to identify root cause and implement effective countermeasures. * Oversee the professional development and periodic evaluation of direct reports. * Identify employee development opportunities and enlist appropriate corporate personnel to assist in construction and implementation of training programs that are comprehensive and regularly reinforced. * Periodica
