Must Have
Previous Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is essential, understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control, Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure, Proficient in using production tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting tools
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
What You'll Do.
overseeing the daily operations within our manufacturing facility
ensuring all activities align with the organisation's KPI’s
acting as the first point of contact for team leads
ensuring that the production area is operating in a safe and efficient manner
fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
ensuring that all required safety checks are carried out on-time and promote safe work practices
participating in safety audits
training and continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS
ensuring that the company required standards and reporting are adhered to
and supporting team members to achieve performance targets
delivering shift meetings and ensuring effective communication across all areas
supporting the recruitment process when required
ensuring that the onboarding of new operatives is completed to the required standards
performing in-process quality checks and coordinating with Quality for inspections and audits
managing the team leads to ensure that they are meeting or exceeding production targets (efficiency
ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
and continuous improvement projects on the line
