Nextern is hiring for the role of **Production Supervisor**. This role comes with**competitive pay and a full benefits package (details below)** The role of **Production Supervisor** will be responsible for Minnesota operation and is someone who will help us set the stage for the next phase of growth. Nextern is searching for a high impact, driven individual who can adhere to our company principles and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. **Nextern Principles: We show up and deliver, we innovate to impact, we make everyday matter, and most off all—we are in it together.** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Provides direction in the resolution of technical and production-related problems to assure completion of weekly schedules that meet or exceed Company and Customer expectations. * Monitors the alignment of product or line(s) with master production schedule and material planning to meet production goals. * Monitors departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports. * Implements Lean manufacturing methodologies including but not limited to, standard work, 5S, visual management, and value stream mapping. * Ensures work orders are closed in Epicor and data is accurate. * Supervises Associates in a manner that fosters a safe work environment and self-directed team approach. * Provides continuous communication to management on production, facility and Associate accomplishments and/or concerns. * Facilitates communication, coordination and conflict resolution within and among work groups. * Provides leadership to Associates in all areas including: hiring, performance management, coaching, counseling and corrective
