High School Diploma or GED, Minimum of 5 years experience, Follow and enforce all plant safety rules, Follow and support operating principles, Understand and promote Magna's philosophies, Follow, comply and enforce all operational procedures/policies, Ensure weekly safety talks are conducted, Routinely make visual inspections of emergency evacuation routes, Ensure daily pre-shift inspections are completed, Supervise employees in accordance with principles, Act on behalf of Department Manager, Assume responsibilities of Team Leader, Responsible for accurate and timely monitoring and approval of employees’ schedules, Immediately attend to all accidents and injuries, Complete accident investigations within 24 hours, Audits team member adherence to Kamtek processes and procedures, Supervise Team Leaders in their job performance, Utilize interactive management principles

What You'll Do.
Provide assistance to Casting Department Manager
Support departmental leadership and employees

Ensure employee safety and well-being
Oversee development and supervision of Team Leaders and

Manage ergonomic issues
Provide supervision and direction to Casting employees/operators
People and Investor goals are balanced
Perform minor corrections to equipment
Contact area leader or support personnel for machine/tooling
Recommend proposals for improving products
Encourage employee participation in continuous improvement
Ensure employees are properly trained and adhering to
Enforce disciplinary actions for safety infractions
Conduct Team Safety Talks
Conduct unplanned inspection audits

Ensure production levels and quality standards are met
Monitor operations and make adjustments
Establish and maintain effective communications with all departments
Conduct all business activities in a professional manner

He/She will support the departmental leadership and employees to successfully meet goals and objectives by providing guidance, technical expertise and resources needed in order to be safe, productive, and produce quality parts. **RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:** The Casting Production Supervisor is responsible for all employee’s safety and well-being, overall development and supervision of Team Leaders and employees, health and safety, quality, customer cost, productivity, and ergonomic issues through using the company policies and procedures and the Magna Employee’s Charter as a guideline.
