) to minimize downtime and ensure production, safety and quality objectives are, Participate in selection/interview process, job safety orientation and employee performance, Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to enhance their skills, productivity, and overall performance, Lead daily stand-up, Develop and update manufacturing work instructions and documentation, Administer provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement while providing clear expectations, consistent accountability and regular, Perform administrative activities necessary for the effective management of the department such as health and safety inspections and reports, payroll adjustments, production and maintenance, Coordinate maintenance and production activities to ensure preventive maintenance work is completed on, identify, develop and implement continuous improvement programs in productivity and 5S culture, such as work simplification, labour balancing, bottleneck management, process changes or improvements in methods or, Participate in and implement change driven from Lean initiatives such as Kaizen workshops, SMED’s, 5S, Act as Project Leader if, Perform other related duties as assigned.
