Must Have
2+ years of relevant experience, Experience acting as a lead by providing training, coaching or mentoring to less experienced staff or through managing a process or project, communication skills (oral and written), solid analytical and math abilities, Skilled at motivating, training, and coaching employees to achieve peak performance while fostering a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment, Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments, capable of working in varying conditions (heat and cold), willing to work long hours and weekends when needed
Nice to Have
SAP, internet tools, spreadsheets, Word, order processing, inventory software, food processing, leadership, manufacturing, knowledge of yields, plant efficiencies, operations procedures, bilingual
What You'll Do.
Oversee the entire production process
Ensure safety and USDA health standards are met
Guide and lead production employees
Ensure production targets are met
Drive clear communication across all levels
Maximize efficiency and minimize costs
Oversee routine maintenance and setup of equipment
Oversee routine maintenance and setup of facilities
Perform daily inspections on the production floor
Take immediate corrective action
Champion ergonomic initiatives
Ensure adherence to HACCP and USDA regulations
Maintain product quality
Enforce Food Safety and Food Quality plans
Train employees on safe operating procedures
Ensure tasks are performed according to product specifications
Track and analyze production yields
Analyze production efficiencies
Analyze production variances
Improve equipment use
Direct and provide guidance to hourly production employees
Ensure alignment on safety
Lead monthly line meetings
Walk the production floor daily
Analyze key product performance metrics
Identify areas for improvement
Suggest changes to enhance production efficiency
Suggest changes to minimize costs
Suggest changes to maintain high standards of quality
Provide training to less experienced staff
Provide coaching to less experienced staff
Provide mentoring to less experienced staff
Lead problem-solving efforts for complex process issues
