What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment, 4 Years – Experience in Position, 4 Years - Experience managing people/projects, High School Diploma or GED
Nice to Have
6 Years–Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment, 6 Years- Experience working in Position, 6 Years – Experience managing people/projects, Associate's Degree
What You'll Do.
Assist Production Supervisor with daily activities of assigned
Ensure product adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety
Communicate with previous shift regarding challenges and opportunities
Conduct walkthroughs throughout the shift to verify safety
Assist supervisor with batching minerals
Prepare production lines for scheduled changeovers
Order and inspect raw materials prior to changeovers
Ensure correct inventories for production runs
Perform first pass quality checks after changeovers
Prevent non-conforming product
Return raw materials after completion of production runs
Verify discrete jobs are correct in Oracle
Verify discrete jobs are correct in Warehouse Management
Verify discrete jobs are correct in Line Management
Support Production Supervisor with hourly production reports
Support Production Supervisor with end of shift production
Utilize the Efficiency Improvement Tools to understand line
Comment on line downtime
Communicate downtime per the escalation plan
Adhere to company and plant safety programs
Abide by Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Abide by Food Safety Standards
