About the Role Seeking a Production Operations Analyst to support 24x7 mainframe and open systems operations for a large financial services client. In this role, you'll monitor and support production job scheduling, triage failures, and work to maintain service level agreements across a complex, enterprise-scale technology environment. This is a critical infrastructure role for someone who thrives in a structured, high-accountability operations setting. Remote | Contract | USC/GC/H4/F1 - Excepted - No Sponsorshi[ 3rd Shift: Mon–Fri, Midnight–8AM + Rotating Weekends & Holidays What You'll Do * Monitor, support, and troubleshoot production schedules and workflow for mainframe and open systems environments, using automated monitoring tools to identify failures, degradation, and late dependency events * Triage problems and take corrective action to ensure availability and minimize downtime * Follow and contribute to standard operating procedures, recommending improvements to increase operational efficiency and customer service * Develop a thorough understanding of production schedules, job flows, and service level deadlines * Resolve moderately complex processing issues and delays * Complete checklists and turnover logs for audit compliance * Assist with troubleshooting Remote File and Data Transmission delivery issues * Analyze recurring problems and present improvement recommendations to senior technicians or management * Assist in maintaining technical documentation and SOPs * Provide daily support to end users and programming groups * Collaborate with senior staff on work assignments as needed ## Requirements What You'll Need * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 1–3 years of equivalent work experience * Working knowledge of an automated mainframe/open systems scheduling platform — IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler preferred * Familiarity with Tape Storage Management (TSM) or similar backup software * Experience with multiple hardware/software platfo
